Bertha Kinale
Bertha, a member of the Coyote Clan, was the first person we met on the Hopi Reservation 27 years ago. She lives in Walpi and is now 95 years old! We sent her a special delivery of essential (and not so essential :-) items. Her daughter, Connie, wrote back saying she was very happy about thinking of her this way!
For many years she would always be in Sichomovi and Walpi on First Mesa selling her pottery (sample below).
