From Wednesday, July 31, through August 4, a team from Christian Life Center will embark on an exciting, faith-filled “scouting” journey to the Northshore of Alaska, visiting the town of Barrow, known as Utqiagvik (Oot-keag-vik) to the Inupiat who have inhabited this highly remote area for over millennia. Located north of the Arctic Circle, it is one of the northernmost towns in the world and the northernmost in the United States, with Point Barrow as the country’s northernmost point.
Our visit to Utqiagvik may be part of a larger plan, and we are open to discovering all the Lord has in store for us in such a brief time. Our plan includes praying on Point Barrow and bringing LuminAID solar lights.
